About us

The Orthopedic Clinic operates at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna (MSE) and Kullbergska sjukhuset in Katrineholm (KSK) and has approximately 110 employees, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. The Orthopedic Clinic assesses and treats diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. The services include prosthetic, trauma, shoulder, hand, foot, spine, pediatric, and arthroscopic surgery. In addition to planned activities, the clinic also covers emergency services at the emergency department of Mälarsjukhuset. The clinic has about 40 physician positions and provides both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic's patients are of all ages.

Your responsibilities

As a resident physician at the orthopedic clinic MSE/KSK, you can develop into a skilled orthopedic specialist with the opportunity for further specialization in one of the orthopedic subspecialties. The duties include work in the orthopedic emergency department, operating room, orthopedic outpatient clinic, and orthopedic ward, following an individual training program that we establish together based on the requirements of the goal description. On-call duties are included.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with an interest in orthopedics. You have a strong commitment to your work and possess a good ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We value previous experience in orthopedics, good collaboration skills, and sound judgment. We place great importance on personal qualities.
